When it rains the walls and windows of a house get wet. How does the drying process increase the cooling?

Q. When it rains the walls and windows of a house get wet. How does the drying process increase the cooling of the house?

A. Through the process of evaporation. Evaporation is a cooling process that removes heat energy from the surface the water is in contact with. Just as you feel cool when getting out of the water on a breezy day, because the evaporation of the water on your skin removes heat from your skin, thus you feel that loss of heat as coolness.

How to prevent hair loss around hairline from braids?
Q. Sometimes people's hairlines get messed up from the braids that they wear. How do you prevent hair loss around your hairline when you wear braids?

A. Don't do them too tight, it does unbelievable damage to your hair!
A tip is to do the braids whilst hair is wet, this also make it easier to put in. And also, when taking them out, don't rush, and dampen them with water, it makes it easier and it doesn't pull as much :)

Hope this helped x

Can I take legal action against my neighbor for letting her sprinkler get my car wet and leave water spots?
Q. My car is parked on the public street and she moves her single sprinkler just to get my car wet. Can I do anything about this? The local PD are not wanting to help, they will not even come out and file a report.

A. in the US you can sue for anything, that doesn't mean that you will win.

You don't have a case. you are parked on a public street, and the sprinkler is still on her property. Now, if you were in your driveway, you may have a case. Or, if she moved the sprinkler to public property you might have a case as well.

Water does not hurt cars. In order to win a lawsuit, you need to prove that you had actual losses caused by her actions. A carwash probably wouldn't even be considered a loss because your car gets wet when it rains, and your car gets wet during a car wash.

She is not doing anything illegal, that is why the police are not taking action.

Park your car in a different place, like in front of your own house.
