Does losing weight through hypnosis even work?
Q. I really wanted to start losing weight with hypnosis. Does it even work? What are the best hyponis tapes to lose weight for teenagers? The only one I've heard of is Think and Lose, does that work? Is there a better hypnosis tape than this?

A. Yes, hypnosis does work for weight loss. Going to a hypnotist or hypnotherapist would be beneficial rather than a recorded tape as the session would be more personal and aimed for your needs. All hypnosis is self hypnosis (the hypnotist is a coach) so learning self hypnosis techniques and wanting to lose weight you will be successful. Best of luck.

What is a good way 2 exercise without losing weight?
Q. I want to exercise without losing weight,in fact i want to gain weight in the asses.

A. If you are trying to maintain your weight while getting toned the best way to do it is to consume the same amount of calories as you burn, a good way I know how to burn the same amount of calories you consume is to keep a log of what you eat and how many calories it has, and a very good website for calorie amounts in foods and how many calories an exercise works off in my opinion is http://caloriecount.about.com/ and if you want to just gain a little weight the way to do it is to work off less calories that you consume, but this is not a good way to gain weight because fat will build around your muscles, but you can do exercises including leg lifts and I believe lunges can help tone your bottom. And I would also like to say that gaining weight and losing weight does not necessarily mean getting fatter because weight can also be gained in muscle mass, which is a good thing for your body.

What is the difference between losing weight and losing inches?
Q. I've been working out and I've lost 6 lbs, and I notice a significant weight loss and saw some loss of inches in my waist; and I was going to go to a spa and I wanted to get a "European Body Wrap", and they have said that the body wrap doesn't make you lose weight, it just gets rid of inches. So what is the difference? I thought by losing weight you also lost inches, I didn't think they were two different things.

A. Ok girl I'll lay this one out for you. Losing weight is just losing overall weight, like going from 120 to 116. Losing inches mean you may weigh the same but its just distributed differently, like your waist goes from 22" to 20" but you still weight 120. Hope this helps!
