Q. I am a pescetarian, meaning that i am a "vegitarian" who eats fish. I am looking for a weight loss plan that will help me lose some weight while still not eating any meat other than fish. If anyone has any yummy healthy low-carb recepies that would be great too!
A. Great.i was a pescetarian myself some years ago..take steamed fish with oatmeal for dinner(you may season it with pepper and a drizzle of sesame oil, and do add eggplants and carrots by the side)...do stick to your regular dose of veggies n fruit...do keep a limit on soy products because too much soy raises estrogen in your blood and that will be enough to limit your body from burning excess fat..if you are a woman trying to get pregnant or simply a person who appreciates high metabolism, please take my advice seriously. Progesterone is a female hormone that exists in men too, but the testicles can convert it to testosterone.High testosterone/Progesterone levels improve metabolism and also improve the alertness of the brain..estrogen isnt like that..it is dangerous if it is in high density in your blood..and the bad news is that the strength of estrogen raises when there is too much sugar in the blood OR TOO MUCH FAT IN THE BODY. Estrogen dominance is the root of all weight loss problems...there are no foods on earth to induce progesterone, so the only way to cut down estrogen in the blood is via regular exercise. Even 20 minutes , 3 times a week of cardio workout will work wonders. If you hate sweat, then try something more internal like yoga and pilates.Sweat is external excretion. Yoga/Pilates helps the body excrete from within,so you dont sweat much, but it works!try to take home made replacements like fresh fruit juice mixed with non-fat yoghurt or muesli occasionally so you still get a good balance of amino acids.Trust me friend- There is no short cut to a better and healthier body, but hard work will pay off!
Best weight loss plans out there for morbidly obese women?
Q. Im looking for the best weight loss options for extremely over-weight women. Id like to lose approximately 100lbs in the next year or two so that I can begin ttc #2. Im 5^4 inches tall and weigh 260 lbs. Any suggestions would help. Thanks in advance!
A. I am also trying to lose 100 pounds in 1 year. I started walking 30 min. a day. But my Dr. said if I couldn't walk the 30 walk as much as you can then in a week add 5 min. until and continue. Also, I use slim fast drinks to replace breakfast. The only one I like is the coffee one. Then I blog about my process. It keeps me from snacking. When I want to eat I blog instead. I would love for yu to look at it.

How effective is the One a Day Women's Active Metabolism?
Q. I bought this vitamin yesterday as part of my weight loss plan. It's my first One a Day vitamin. I initially was going to buy OaD with energy to give me the energy I usually get from coffee and energy drinks so I could cut back, but saw this one and decided it might be even better. Has anyone tried it, and how effective is it? What is its purpose? Does it speed up your metabolism?
A. Hi, some say this
"I tried this product because my doctor said I should start taking a daily vitamin. Since I am very active in the gym and have a very good diet I figured this would help me get over the hump. the first day I took this I didnt take it with a full stomach and it made me vomit. The next day I took it with an extremely full stomach and again made me vomit! I will never take this again!"
Some said this
"I love this vitamin and highly recommend it! I know it says it is NOT a diet pill, but it does kill my appetite and also gives me a huge energy boost. I take it at lunch time with food, and it prevents any urge for snacking before dinner. I did find out the hard way if you take it on a empty stomach it does make you feel a little nauseated and dizzy, especially if you are not drinking enough water. However, most vitamins have this affect, so just make sure you eat something and drink plenty of water, and you should be great!!"

What is the best fitness/diet plan for obese women?
Q. I'm looking for some advice on the best weight loss exercise plan for obese women.I'm a little over 300 pounds and I'm 5'5'' and only 21 I'm looking for a weight loss plan for a beginner to start with.I already know about sparkpeople.com So please any other sites with information or any diet programs that are cheap or free for beginners.
A. Start slow. Doing too much at once decreases your chances of sticking to a workout plan. Try walking for 10-15 minutes at a brisk pace (you can adjust this if it is too much or too little). As this gets easier for you, increase your time by a few minutes. You want to do this most days of the week (at least 5), although it may be best to start with 3 days/week and work up from there. Set goals for yourself. For example, in one month be able to walk for 30 minutes, 4 days/week. In 2 months be able to walk for 45 minutes. As you are able to increase the time that you workout for, you will be able to burn more calories, which will help you to burn fat faster. Since you are overweight, you don't want to do too much too quickly because this could lead to sore knees, which would discourage you from working out. Another great option, that is easy on the knees is riding a bike. Good luck! Stay positive and stick to a routine and you will get the results you want.
