Will gaining weight during the cross country season make my times slower?

Q. I need to gain weight, but right now I am in cross country and running on varsity. If I tried to gain weight now, would I become slower?

A. Are talking about gaining 20 lbs by the end of the season? If not, try to gain the weight but considering all the running you must be doing...
Good luck with your running!

What is a good weight loss/exercise program that I can lose weight very quickly on?
Q. I want to lose weight fast. I have been on weight watchers for a week, and have only dropped a pound. I want something that works a little faster. Any suggestions?

A. fast is not always a safe way to lose weight. The real key to weight loss is to burn more calories than you take in (sounds simple).

here is a guide to weight loss that can show you some online tools that will help you lose weight (track what you eat, think of exercises to do, etc)

Can you start to lose weight the healthy way after starving yourself?
Q. I lost weight starving myself but I now learned that that makes your body hold onto fat and lose muscle. If i started losing weight the healthy way, will I look like an average person at that weight, or flabbier from starving myself?

A. Reducing weight is not difficult, you will need one thing, personal control. It is very simple, everything you need to do is use more calories compared to what you really consume. That is all you need to do. Really ignore each one of these celebrity diets and great new methods, simply just go and do some exercise and enjoy a wholesome and balanced diet. Individuals believe that you should only to eat salad or fruit on a regular basis, that is certainly also crap. Healthy food can be very tasty, such as, fish! Make use of the grill as opposed to the frying pan, go for a walk rather than using the car! You needn't visit the health and fitness center, you only need to change one or two habits and the bodyweight will go.
