How can I lose weight with eating the right foods?
Q. I know to eat in small portions and three meals but what are the best foods to eat to lose weight?
A. If you are eating really small portions, eat 5 times a day. It keeps your metabolism going better. Eat lots of chicken and lean meats, fruits and vegtables, high fibre brown breads, brown rice, fat free milk, etc. And always be sure to get in a little healthy fat everyday (olive oil, etc) your body needs it. If you excersise alot, you need to eat a little more. Too much excersise and not enough food, you don't lose as well. Trust me it works. And when you do want to splurge on other things, go for it. Just watch the portion size.
What are great foods toe eat/cook for a diet to lose weight. What is the ideal workout and how long?
Q. I have been trying to lose weight this summer. I have lost some but I am not satisfied. I need some tips pleas. I think I am eating the right stuff but maybe there are better foods. What are great foods toe eat/cook for a diet to lose weight. What is the ideal workout and how long? Will running do the job?
A. This may sound silly, but I bought a diabetic cookbook a couple of years ago to lose weight. Now, I'm not diabetic, but these cookbooks have dishes in them that are lower in carbs, sugars, and fat. And most of them are tasty! I lost 30 lbs eating foods from this cookbook of mine. I would suggest you look online for diabetic recipes or find a diabetic cookbook and start there.

A. It should be no surprise that some foods make you feel more full than
others --even if they have the same number of calories.
Dieters often eat a healthy, low-cal breakfast, then find themselves
"starving" a half-hour later. University of Sydney researcher Dr.
Susannah Holt conducted a study to determine the satiety index of
commonly-eaten foods. Incorporating satisfying foods into their diets can help curb hunger
pangs and prevent overeating at subsequent meals.
Satiety Index's Most Filling Foods list:
1. Boiled/baked potatoes
2. Fish
3.Porridge/Oatmeal
4.Oranges
5.Apples
6.Brown/whole wheat pasta
7.Beef
8.Baked beans
9.Grapes
10.Wholemeal bread
11.Popcorn and Wholegrain bread tied for this spot: If you like to
snack then take into account that you will get to eat much more
popcorn than bread.
12.All-bran
13.Eggs
14.Cheese
15.White Rice
16.Lentils
17.Brown Rice
