What's the difference between fat loss and weightloss? And what had better results?

Q. Ok I started at 160lbs I am 5"0 tall and now I weigh 135lbs trying to get to 110lbs what is the difference between fat loss and weightloss? And what has better results?

A. Fat loss is the loss of only body fat which occurs when the body metabolizes (burns) fat for energy. That is how most people want to lose weight because they are trying to get rid of body fat.

Weight loss is the loss of weight which can happen through the loss of body fat, water, and waste. In cases of starvation or near starvation weight can also be lost through the metabolization of lean tissues such as muscle.

Watch this video and you'll understand.
Check out these videos about weighing:

"Better" is a relative term and you provided no context. However, most people would think losing body fat through metabolization is best.

Good luck and good health!!

Suggestions for weightloss exercises in a small space?
Q. I have successfully lost weight before by walking. Unfortunately due to surgery I've gained some back. But this time I'm unfamiliar with my area and it's really friggin hot out! So I'm asking for suggestions for indoors weightloss exercises. I have some tension bands. Wanted to know what worked for other people before I flail around like a wild person trying to lose weight :P thanks!

A. I love doing the workouts on this website they do use the tension bands http://www.liveexercise.com/. I love doing the kickboxing, you should really look into the website.

Which weightloss supplements work the best for quick results? Long lasting results?
Q. I'm currently using a internal "colon" cleanse and I think it's best if I take a natural weightloss supplement... What do you think. I'd really like to lose a good 40 lbs. I recently joined a gym and want an extra boost! Any suggestions??? Thanks!

A. honestly the only thing that is going to help you lose weight and actually keep it off forever is changing your eating patterns and to exercise. You just need to start eating the right foods, and chose to do that for the rest of your life. It shouldn't be about what can i take to lose 40lbs right now. What happens after you lose the 40lbs? what will you do then? you can't go back to the way you used to eat, you'll just gain it all back. Just eat healthier, watch your calorie intake. Exercise more. Make sure you weight train, muscle burns fat. good luck.

What does apple cider vinegar do for weightloss?
Q. Please include as much detail.

Also if you know what lemon juice does for weightloss, thanks.

A. Dr. Andrew Weil offers his expert opinion on this matter:
"There is absolutely no scientific evidence showing that apple cider
vinegar can aid in weight loss or that it contains any magic
ingredients that help you to shed pounds. Back in the 1970s when this
diet took its place among the many weight loss fads and scams,
proponents claimed that somehow a combination of apple cider, kelp,
vitamin B-6, and lecithin fooled the body's metabolism into burning
fat faster than it would normally.

These days the claims are far less elaborate - supposedly, all you
need to do to lose weight is to take one, two, or three teaspoons of
apple cider vinegar before every meal, starting with one teaspoon and
then working up to two or three. I understand that taking more than
three teaspoons isn't supposed to lead to better results. The only
dieting advice you get with this "diet" is to eat moderate portions at
meals, avoid snacking, and wait for the apple cider vinegar to reduce
your hunger and food cravings."
