Q. I'm 19 year old male around 6 foot tall and about 215 lbs. I'm looking for some quick and long lasting excersices to help lose weight. Its hard especially since I don't eat as healthy as I should since there isn't much around.
A. Doing an effective whole body conditioning and weight loss workout
can be done entirely at home without any fancy equipment. A couple of
dumbbells is all you will need. (Even if you don't have dumbbells
there is usually something lying around the house that is heavy enough
to substitute in for them).
Here is a list of 20 exercises you can do right in your own home for
a great whole body conditioning and fat loss workout.
Exercises:
Group 1:
Bodyweight Squats
Bulgarian Split Squats
Y-Squats
Prisoner Squat
Reverse Lunge
Step Ups
One Leg "Get Ups"
Group 2:
Push Ups
Push Up and Point
Mountain Climbers
Decline Push Ups
Push Ups/Stick Ups
Step Up and Press
Squat and Press
Group 3:
Plank
Side Plank
Curl and Press
One Arm Rows
Bird Dogs
One Leg Deadlifts
Pick one exercise from each group and do them all back to back for a
mini circuit of 3 exercises. Do each exercise for a timed interval of
10 seconds for a total of 30 seconds per mini circuit.
As you get better at them work up to doing each exercise for 20
seconds for a total of 60 seconds per mini circuit.
Take 30-60 seconds rest between mini circuits.
For beginners do a total of 3 mini circuits to start. Working up to 4
or 5 as you get better at them.
Once you're ready to move to the next level add a second mini circuit
by choose 3 different exercises (one from each grouping). Do your
second mini circuit with the same time of work to rest ratio as your
fist.
If you feel you are already at an advanced level you can add one or
two more mini circuits up to a total of 4 mini circuits. These 20
exercises are just an example of what is possible, there are dozens
more that would work in this mini circuit style, you can incorporate
any exercise that you like into these mini circuits. This style of
workout is a great complete whole body conditioning and fat loss
program you can do right at home in under 45 minutes.

What's the best medecine to help lose weight?
Q. Is there any pills you can take to help lose weight that are easily found, like not needing a prescription? Any suggestions on easy weight loss, i need to lose it by January 6th if i can. Thanks.
I'm about 110 and i want to be around 100. I'm 5'2. I currently eat about less than 1000 calories a day, and i eat healthy stuff. So i'm not a terrible overweight, but i just want to be skinny again.

A. Hi May, sorry about these jerks on here who think they know every and are not answering your question. Diet and exercise is the best way to go for long term weight lost, everyone knows that but sometimes we need a little extra boost in the beginning. But, anyway enough rambling I dont know of any OTC weight loss pills, let me if you find a good one. But be careful and do your research about the pill you will be taking.
Nothing with ephedra or Phen, in the title. Good luck.

Is there anything natural to take to increase breastmilk and also anything to help lose weight?
Q. I'm breastfeeding my 2-month old son and I've noticed that my breastmilk has decreased since I started on the "mini pill". Is there anything that I can take that won't harm the baby to increase my milk supply? I'm also looking for something naturally to take to help lose weight. I have not been as fortunate as other mothers who say they lost weight while breastfeeding. If anything, my appetite has increased ten-fold and I'm fighting an up hill battle! Any suggestions!
A. at 2 months you can't expect to lose a lot of weight yet... and it's normal for you to be hungry... you are burning a lot of calories producing the milk!! Weight loss, regardless of breastfeeding, works differently in all women. Generally speaking... it took you 9 months to put the weight on, it can take 9 months to get it back off. Some women bounce back faster... lucky them - but don't get too hung up on it - you just had a baby 2 months ago!!! :)
on increasing breastmilk: fenugreek is a great one that works for many women... 2 or 3 capsules 3 times daily, when your urine and sweat smell like maple syrup in a few days, it should start working.... here's more on this and a few other herbal breastmilk help:

Here's some other birth control options that are safe while breastfeeding, these are good safe starting places, but everyone responds differently, if yours is listed here and still giving you problems, ask your doctor if you can try another one:
** Progestin-only contraceptives are the preferred choice for breastfeeding mothers when something hormonal is desired or necessary. Progestin-only contraceptives come in several different forms:
--the progestin-only pill (POP) also called the "mini-pill" (Micronor, Errin, Nor-QD, Ovrette, Microval, etc)
--the birth control injection (Depo Provera)
--the progesterone-releasing IUD (Mirena, Progestasert)
--the birth control implant (Norplant, Implanon).

What are all the excerises that can help lose weight?
Q. I wanted to know all the excerises that can help lose weight if the person with the asnwer with most excerises for losing weight will be chosen as best asnwer. Note*please do not give foolish excerises or anything that cant help lose weight wont be chosen as best asnwer*
A. the better question is which exercise DOES NOT help lose weight...?
exercise in general increases your metabolism, and that helps burn calories (no you cannot burn ONLY fat, other than fat burning pills)
you burn calories not fat, you NEVER burn fat because you're ready too..you burn fat when your body deems it necessary to give up it's fat storage
this is accomplished by a few things:
1 healthy balanced diet.
2. exercise 3-5 times a week
3. eating the correct amount of calories with a decent to good balance.
4. Time and dedication
okay now to answer your question anyways:
Squats
leg presses
deadlifts
cambered rows
bent over rows
step ups
lunges
calf raises
reverse calf raises
seated calf raises
leg extensions
one arm pick ups
bicep curls
preacher curls
concentrated bicep curls
hammer curls

reverse wrist curls
chest fly's
bench presses

standing dumbell pullovers
kickbacks
skullcrushers
supernating kickbacks
close grip bench presses
one arm isolated rows
one arm pickups
shrugs
frontal raises
upright rows
benhind the neck presses
shoulder presses
arnold presses
bicycle crunches
crunches
situps
decline situps
situps (twist)
pushups
pullups
tricep dips
side bends
