What are goods foods to eat to help u while losing weight?

Q. Im 14 years old , 135-140 pounds , and I'm 5'3 1/2 . so can someone please make a list of good foods to eat or some foods that help u lose weight . I need a bunch of ppl to answer so I can get an idea !! Please just make a list of something and some sports or exericising tips . Please I'm sick of being a little over weight . PLEASE !

A. A good rule of thumb is to eat close to the source. Generally speaking, every added step in food prepartion tends to make the food less healthy. For example, if you peel, cut up and fry a potato, it's much less healthy than a whole unpeeled baked potato. If you dredge a perfactly healthy fish filet in egg and flour, then add hot oil, it's much less healthy than one simply broiled. Processed foods with lots of flavorings and additives are less healthy than foods with only one or two ingredients.
Lean protein, whole grains, simply prepared or raw fruits an vegetables and healthy unsaturated fats are the basis of a healthy diet.
It's harder to advise about exercise-if it's not someting you enjoy or at least find tolerable, you won't stick with it. So try different sports and workouts based on your preferences and things you like, until you find the right activities for you.

A. lost 40lbs since Jan. 06 Diet includes baked chicken, fish, veggies, no soda,, WATER, excersise 4 days a week, 1hour on elliptical.... still have my cheat day at McDonalds once a week

A. fruits and vegetables. stay away from bread, pasta, and grains. you can have some protein, but only a small serving (size of your fist).

someone once said the rule to losing weight is to not eat white foods - that would be bread, potatoes, rice, basically anything starchy.
