Q. I'm looking for weight loss recipes for the day. I do not want preservatives in my food so I'm stearing clear of frozen meals. I'm very picky. I like a few starchy vegies. I love Fruit because I like sweeter things. Links would be great! :) Thanks in advance

L-Big veggie salad with some protein such as tuna, chicken , or turkey.Add one ounce of cheese and
use cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, mushrooms ,broccoli red cabbage and a handful of nuts. Add a bit of dressing.
Have a fruit and water.
D- Fish, lots of veggies and a fruit.
Snack -Low calorie yogurt
No detox is necessary. Just do it.

Has anyone got any good simple and healthy recipe ideas?
Q. I'm trying to lose weight and long story short I need some simple and healthy (food that will assist weight loss) recipe ideas. I was wondering if anyone had any simple ideas or any websites which will have them. I would love to know how to use vegetables more in my food, although I only like a few vegetables (peas, carrots, kidney beans, tomatoes). Thanks in advance.

A. For the preparing snacks like pancake, idli, dosa, porridge, do not forget to add some vegetables to it. Garnish it with grated cucumber or fruits like pomegranate, sliced banana, strawberry or apple.
Use black pepper instead of chilliflakes.
Use honey instead of sugar. Jaggery can also be used as it is a good source of iron.
Prepare a smoothie of the fruits available and have it in the breakfast. Great energy provider.

How much protein should a female consume for weight loss?
Q. I've been working out consistently for about a year, but my weight loss has been really slow. I've only lost about 15-18lbs. I've also changed my diet and started eating a lot healthier. I haven't been intaking much protein and I believe that is a reason why my weight loss has been slow. How much protein should I take to speed up my weight loss? Are there any recipes, shakes or vitamins I should be taking?
I workout at least 3-4x a week. On average I'm at the gym for 1hr. - 1.5hrs. I've been attending the RPM & Body Pump classes at least 2x a week. On the other days I'm doing cardio and weightlifting. I also do resistence training.

A. Protein: Beans, lean meats such as boneless skinless chicken and fish, peanut butter (about 1 tablespoon for a serving), etc...
Lean Protein should make up about 40% of your daily nutritional intake per day. 30% is for whole grains. 20% is for fruits & vegetables. 10% is for fat.
