In your opinion, what is the best online weight loss community site?

Q. Hi,

I'm getting overwhelmed with the abundance of so many weight loss websites out there. I'm looking for one that has an active forum, where people talk about their daily eating habits and keep track of their goals.

I'm not interested in weight watchers so please exclude that from your recommendations.

Thanks!

A. try sparkpeople.com

you do not have to buy anything or to pay, it's free. Register with

I'm searching for the perfect weight loss website...?
Q. I am wondering if there is a weight loss website that has delicious fun to cook meals and grocery lists on budget. Hopefully a day by day schedule as well. help please?

SPANKS!!!

A. You should check out sparkpeople.com and see what you think. It has a calorie counter that tells you how many calories are in whatever food you put in. Also, they have alot of recipes availble, a section for you to put in what you eat each day and it will tell you how many calories, protein, carbs, etc. that you consumed for that day. I offers excercises and demos of how to do them. It has many groups to join like emotional eaters, biggest loser fans, and more. I use it and it really helps, and it's FREE!

Why is this website saying I need to consume 3118 calories?
Q. So I was just browsing the internet and happened upon a weight loss website and was reading since I am dieting at the moment. I try not to exceed 1800 calories a day and I do an exercise routine everyday. The website is telling me that with my weight, height, age, and activity level I need 3118 calories....won't that make me gain weight?

A. Yes, it definitely will. Just do what works for you if it's healthy...and what you're doing sounds healthy.

How do I eat less sugar when pretty much all foods are full of it?
Q. Im signed up on a weight loss website, and it says that every day im eating way more sugar then I'm supposed to. I should only eat about 30g of sugar a day, but a piece of fruit will have 25g.. I dont eat any unhealthy food, so the sugar I am eating is from bread, fruit, yogurt etc. How can I eat less sugar when so many foods have all of my daily recommended amount?

A. forget about that website instructions. how much u will take that's not all problem. u must spent that sugar energy for physical activities. I suggest u not to take all fruits at a time which leads to fluctuations in sugar of the body.

God created so many fruits. Taste all of them. But maintain law of conservation of energy (sugar).
