Q. I have PCOS and am on Metformin and have lost 24 pounds (10% body wt) and was wondering how long it took for you to get a BFP with the weight loss alone or with the metformin.
A. I got pregnant after loosing 20 pounds(about 10%) and and taking Metformin. It took me 2 months. Good luck and baby dust.
If i lost a lot of weight rapidly on the lemonade diet, is it possible to maintain that weight loss?
Q. Ok, so lets say i lost 5-6 pounds from that crazy lemonade/maple syrup diet. Is it possible to maintain that weight loss with a balanced diet? If not, why not? I hear any weight you lose rapidly will be put back on just as fast. I don't understand why this is.

A. Most people will see weight gains because a healthy balanced diet will have much more calorie compared to a crazy starving diet. When you place your body in starvation mode, your body tries its best to store all energy as fat to be used later on, because without the extra energy(fat) your body will feel like it won't be able to make it through until the next time you eat. There are fortunate lucky people who are able to keep the weight off after these types of weight loss, but in general, this is a very unhealthy way, which is why most people with common knowledge does not recommend this type of weight loss.
How do I get my butt fatter and my stomach flatter without losing weight?

A. wow, i don't think i have ever known anyone that wanted to fatten their booty! ha!
my two children were spread out over 7 years so i didn't have the same experience that you did. i know of no way to fatten one part and reduce the other but you can "build" one part while reducing the other. squats work awesome to reduce the fat in your butt but build muscle and that would make for better tone also. at the same time you do squats, hold your stomach in. that worked awesome for me! when i was driving, i would do keigles (sp) and hold my stomach in. it takes time, but it all really does work. do the keigles for ten second intervals and hold your tummy in at the same time. do this repeatedly everyday. do it while, watching tv, walking, driving, vacuuming, WHILE DOING EVERYTHING! no one will even know that you are doing it!

Does anybody actually lose weight by becoming a vegetarian?
Q. I know that pretty much everyone gains it because they start eating tons of carbs, but has anyone lost weight by becoming vegetarian? If so, what did you eat and did you maintain that weight loss with a vegetarian diet?

A. I did, but only after I fell off the wagon. I did a semester abroad and dropped the veggie thing after while. I gained a lot of weight. I lost it all after going vegetarian again and watching my intake of refined carbs, plus adding exercise.
Vegetarianism certainly can help you lose weight if you are choosing sensible alternatives to meat.
I just ate normally and continue to do so. I mean, my "bad" diet was abnormal. If you're looking to lose weight, quadruple the amount of water you eat and double the amount of fresh produce. Eat the veggies and fruit (especially raw) before anything else. Then stop eating when you're no longer hungry.
