How many calories are there in one kilogram?

Q. Just for my weight-losing program. And yes, kilogram.

A. 3500 calories in a pound, google a pound to kilograms calculator and do the math lazy


A good diet and excercise program for a teenager?
Q. Hey there, so I am a bit over weight, only about 10 pounds or so. That is still a lot though. I want ot lose it before febuaray, before the sweethearts dance, would i be able to do this if I dieted and exercised everday? If so what is a good weight lost program for me? I'm 130 right now, I'm only 5'2, so I need to be smaller!

A. eat in moderation!!!!!!!!!!!!! alwasy!!!!!
Diets starve your body of something it needs wether its protein, or carbs or w/e crazy diets there are.
By eating in moderation, you give your body everything it needs but not inexcessive amounts. If you couple that with regular joggin/ light exercises the lbs will melt off in no time.
Also if you replace all the "lazy" activities you do with more physical ones ex: stairs instead of elevator.. etc. they all add up very fast.

Another little bit of information, maybe a bit of opinion but i read alot. Muscle in whole is essentially your metabolism. the more you have the more energy you burn. EVEN at rest since your muscle needs energy just to stay muscle. So if you were to gain just a little bit of muscle in the process you would in turn be helping yourself keep the weight off in the long run.

Why are weight lost programs really popular when America is fat?
Q. I never got how America is obese yet there are weight lost scams everywhere.

A. About 2/3 of Americans are overweight...not obese. We are almost the fattest first world nation and the reason is simple. We have an abundance of good things to eat and really, really, really bad health education in public schools. So, generation after generation we see young people growing up to be fat while looking for easy ways to do hard things. You can see that dynamic at work right here in YA....adolescents constantly asking for easy, fun, simple, and fast ways to lose fat. And, it's not usually for health but to have a cool beach body or to look good for some special occasion. The ignorance is appalling and the expectations of entitlement are pathetic.

The solution to the problem is simple. It's education. The man who turned the US against cigarette smoking, Surgeon General C. Evert Coop, was going to make his next assault on obesity. However, the administration changed and he had to step down.

How to be skinny during the school year?
Q. I am 11 years and i need a weight losing program or something.I am 4 feet 9 inches.
i am 4 feet 9 inches. i am 105 pounds.

A. And your weight? Your BMI is 22.72 which is normal.
