How long can we go without eating before passing out?

Q. How long would it take a human to pass out after not eating and maybe just a bit of water.
Im not fat so its not a weight loss question im 5 ft tall and weigh around 105 pounds im just curious about how long we can last without food and things that tie into fasting.

A. I'm 5'0" and I weigh about 128. I can go like two days without eating or even drinking much(maybe some water, or a soda) the only reason I know that is because sometimes my anxiety gets in the way of eating and sometimes I won't eat for a couple days before getting that passing out feeling. However, it's not good and I do not suggest it.


What causes unintentional rapid weight loss?
Q. I have lost 8 pounds in 4 days without changing anything about the way I eat and with no exercise. I was just wondering what could cause that rapid of weight loss? I posted a question asking if it could be overactive thyroid but it posted it under diet and exercise...so I just posted a new question. Anyway if anyone has lost this much weight this quickly or knows someone who has, I would love some feedback. Oh and I am overweight as it is, so this is a little under 4% of my body weight in 4 days...

What usually gets people's bodyfat lower quicker weight loss or strength training?
Q. Also does protein prevent people from losing weight? Being that it breaks down in the body longer than carbs do? Back to the original question though...what usually gets people's bodyfat lower quicker...weight loss or strength training?

A. well weight loss is fat loss (if youre doing it right) so that does.

You can lower your body fat % by gaining muscle too, but building muscle is a slow process so it wont happen that fast. Its better just to go for the fat if you wannna lower your body fat.


Is it me, or are there alot of people asking dumb weight loss questions who are trying to get out of cardio??
Q. They ask questions about targetting weight loss in a specific area of their body (impossible) or getting ripped abs through some unknown miracle ab workout. The formula is the same for all their questions. Eat healthy, drink your water and RUN!

A. Amen...I agree with Cran juice as well.
- if you're gonna ask if you're fat post a pic (that's the only way for us to tell)
- if you want to lose fat then you're going to need to eat well, and use both cardio and resistance exercise
- the worst though is when some dumb girl is like 5'6" weighs 101 lbs and ask if they are fat...come on
- if you want nice legs (or anything else) get off your butt and do something about it
- if you want to look great for that swimsuit or that wedding that is next Sunday...start 3 months (or more) ago
